Relaxation - who needs it? YOU DO! Each of us need to rest and feel comfortable, free from tension and anxiety and take time for restoration so that we can face all that comes our way daily. How often do you relax or do you justify relaxing? Perhaps you need more zest for life, to look after and put yourself first. Relaxation is not an easy thing to do and sometimes it is good to book a time away from distractions of everyday living to switch off and relax completely.
One very good way to relax is to have a biodynamic treatment - a treat 'meant' for you. Biodynamic massage is a complete treatment and can be enjoyed as a relaxing and pleasurable experience.
This treatment takes the form of a gentle massage where the therapist works on head, arms and hands, legs and feet. We also work with the muscles for capacity and strength or suppleness, with the breath for inspiration and relief and with the joints for flexibility and ease.
How does the treatment work?
Gerda Boyesen the founder of this biodynamic work discovered that the gut has an additional function, not only to digest food, but also stress, life experiences, emotional and psychological events and she named this function “psycho-peristalsis”. The therapist listens to the sounds of the gut in a stethoscope so that the sounds being listened to guide the work of the therapist. This biodynamic massage treatment can help with relaxation by clearing your head of busy thoughts, clear any unwanted clutter from your mind, clear the way for a good nights’ sleep and generally help to feel relaxed. As life-energy is liberated within a person it can bring a feeling of connectedness and well-being whilst simultaneously relieving pain and symptoms
Why not book an appointment giving time and space to yourself? Once you meet your therapist for your treatment he/she is taking charge of the time and as a result you can relax and benefit from this wonderful treatment.
